Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series
The 300 Series is the ultra-high back model in Torasen's Orthopaedica range, and the newest addition to it. It's built with an executive look but the support underneath is fully ergonomic, extending up through the upper back, shoulders and neck rather than stopping at the shoulder blades like a standard task chair.
The frame uses a laminated core structure for extra strength, so the taller back is supported properly rather than flexing under load, which is what lets you sit well for longer without the chair working against you.
Like the 200 Series, the outer back is upholstered rather than plastic, giving a softer look and feel.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series?
The Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series is an ultra-high back ergonomic chair from Torasen's Orthopaedica range, with an executive look. It supports the upper back, shoulders and neck, uses a laminated core structure for extra strength.
Who is the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series designed for?
The Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series suits anyone who needs support higher up the back than a standard task chair provides, particularly through the shoulders and neck, along with an executive appearance for a boardroom or senior office. It's also a sensible option if you sit for long stretches and want the extra structure of the ultra-high back. Whether it's the right fit for you depends on your height and working posture, so we'd suggest our free independent DSE assessment or a call to 01473 807500 before you order.
What's the difference between the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series and the other Orthopaedica models?
The 300 Series has an ultra-high back that supports the upper back, shoulders and neck, built with a laminated core structure for extra strength, giving it an executive look the rest of the range doesn't have. Like the 200 Series, it has an upholstered outer back available in two-tone fabric, whereas the 90 Series has a black plastic outer back and a standard-height back. Lumbar support and arm options are the same across the range.
Can I choose the fabric on the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series?
Yes. The 300 Series can be specified in single-colour fabric options, so it can suit an executive office rather than looking purely clinical.
Does the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series come with a headrest?
No. The Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series is not available with a headrest option, as the ultra-high back is designed to support the upper back, shoulders and neck in its place. If a separate headrest is essential for you, call 01473 807500 and we'll help you find the right model in the Orthopaedica range.
Does the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series have adjustable arms?
Arms are optional on the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series, in two forms. You can specify height adjustable arms, or fold down arms if you need to tuck the chair under a desk or move between workstations.
Can I add lumbar support to the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series?
Yes. Inflatable lumbar support is an optional feature on the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series, adjustable by hand so you can set the level of support your lower back needs and change it through the day.
Is delivery free on the Torasen Orthopaedica 300 Series?
Free delivery is included on all priced items to UK mainland addresses, excluding the highlands and islands.
